Scratch that Niche!

Virtual Assistance is a general term meaning a person that works from home supporting cllients.  Virtual Assistants generally do better when they find a niche to specialize in.  Specializations are as broad as the term Virtual Assistant, but lets look at a few.

Niching in an Industry

Probably the most popular niche for virtual assistants is providing support to real estate professionals.  Real estate provides niches within that industry as well such as: listing coordination, client care management, transaction management and internet marketing.  The rule of thumb is to learn an area and provide only those services.

Other popular niches include supporting Speakers and Coaches.  Speakers and Coaches have a multitude of reasons that they need to use a Virtual Assistant - most travel frequently and don't want to deal with an in-house assistant.  Speakers and Coaches often find that they need help with scheduling appointments, calendar management, hotel and flight arrangements, conference/meeting planning, presentation preparation and so much more.

VAstartup currently have two niche courses in development.

Each of these niche courses will cover everything from how to support a client in these fields to how to find a client in these fields.
